The World Open Again???

The London Theatre news site reported Monday that U.K.‘s Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, says that theatres on London’s West End can reopen at full capacity come May 17, 2021, but it’s pending if the U.K. can enter stage 3 of the COVID19 guidelines of reopening which includes theatres and sports arenas at 50 percent capacity, it’s part of a 4 stage process to reopen all of the U.K. which is being approached cautiously as COVID19 proves unpredictable, and hopefully if cases can stay consistently low.

One of the West End productions hoping for a May comeback if all’s low with COVID19 are the London production of “Hamilton” that’s scheduled to resume performances at the Victoria Palace Theatre starting May 15, 2021, which can welcome back theatre goers half-capacity, and hopefully thereafter a full house.
