Standing Up Against COVID

Curve New York during its first trade show back from the COVID19 pandemic on August 1, 2021 celebrated the pivots, the success stories, and the brands who forged ahead for more than a year during lockdown with a first day cocktail reception along with the Curve New York X NPD Awards during the end of day party that Curve finally released today with the telecast of the mini-ceremony.

Both Curve and NPD dispensed their own accolades to brands who not only persevered during the pandemic, but proved to be power performers with sales all year long leading up to May 2021, the best selling bra went to Warner’s who’s comfort bras continue to be the best selling wire-free bras for the decades, and thanks to the COVID19 pandemic.

Sports Bras have become the over and under bra of choice once the World Health Organization declared COVID19 a global pandemic, the one brand who’s delivered on the call of duty even before COVID19 and winning the award for best selling sports bra is Wacoal, combining sports bra comfort with the look of a traditional bra for the best style you could find.

Curve and NPD also celebrated intimate panty sale resurgence since 2021 began, reporting that bra sales are up 21 percent, and panty sales are up 23 percent, plus adding a touch of swag with a gift bag from Journelle.
