MAGIC New York AW 24 with Kiki Riki, Jonima Apparel, and Kimberly C

THE COOL 😎 CLUB

Certainly, when you walk through the floor of the MAGIC New York trade show at the Javits Center here in lower Manhattan, the energy is incredible, there’s a euphoric charge with all the vendors in this space. The colors and youthfulness engagement is inviting enough with photo booths, plus the cozy hangout at the center of MAGIC New York that allows you to relax, converse, and do work even when a happy hour is not taking place. Young contemporary women’s collections also are at your fingertips, plus the new carpet rolled out by the new parent company of MAGIC New York that is MMGNET, promising a new focus in this new fashion collective. DANIEL PLUS LAUREN’s MAGIC enlightenment continued this past week on Wednesday when DPL sought out 3 eye-catching brands set out to be active and masquerade, Kiki Riki, Jonima Apparel, and Kimberly C.

KIKI RIKI

Kiki Riki is a hugely popular brand here in New York City that produces such elaborate costume and cocktail attire for whatever masquerade you are holding or attending, but at an entire glance, Kiki Riki is apparent for its biggest holiday of all, Halloween. Yes, you can see an array of gowns, dresses, skirts, tops, bottoms, and accessories at your command for all sets of price ranges, a friendly-priced gown to complete a key figure for Halloween, or heavily sparkled sequin corsets not only skintight, but heavy-duty construction weighing 15 pounds in multicolored and high-priced fashion. DANIEL PLUS LAUREN truly gets excited when you match Manhattan, Halloween, costume, and makeup in one night of fun from dusk to dawn.

JONIMA APPAREL

You have to admit, you need to eat healthy, and be in shape to enjoy the spoils of dressing up on Halloween, it’s the summer body extended up to November 1, or even Thanksgiving in some cases. But Jonima Apparel, who’s a newcomer to MAGIC New York, motivates the Halloween costume devotees, and even the never sexy, GEN Z candy consumers of Halloween to stop being old for one night, or an entire season, and get in the sweat comforts GEN Z worships and be active. GEN Z also gets a lesson in style as these hoodies and sweatpants are made up of high-quality fabric, and high-octane colors. Jonima Apparel also adds style to joggers with special stitching for tops, and first-ever sweat-skirts to combine comfort with style.

KIMBERLY C

Diet, exercise, and style are not just reserved for the sex holidays like Halloween and seasons like summer, key parts of Manhattan here in New York knows you gotta be at the top of your game all-year-round. Weight training is important for all active men and women devoted to the gym, but you don’t just have to be limited to running and biking. There’s the lovely sport of tennis, featured heavily here with Kimberly C, who owns the need of a tennis dress even if it’s not tennis you’re serving court on. The tennis dress and even the tennis skirt are truly useful at the gym, one’s favorite cycling, running, and barre class at Equinox, and just to go out on errands before, during, and after workout, or on a rest day even. Kimberly C also taps into biketards, bike shorts, crop tops, GEN Z lovin’ sweatpants, and running shorts paired with sports bras that post-millennial loves pairing with.

All roads lead to something great when you attend trade shows such as MAGIC New York, contributed by New York Fashion Week before it, and Halloween in New York before the holidays take over NYC. With all generations, there’s some great moment we’re working up to in spite of society trends, and we’d be dumb not to take it up if someone else says otherwise. MAGIC AW 24 is out to trend fashion not only with the current GEN Z, but those still young millennials along with GEN ALPHA who balance out the old with their youthfulness. And even if you’re GEN Z per se, look to your role models such as Olivia Rodrigo which DANIEL PLUS LAUREN praises today to keep your oldie love in check, in favor of something exciting and motivating to work up to.
