New York Fashion Week began in dramatic style as VERDAVAINNE, the luxury womenswear label by designer Cyril Verdavainne, unveiled its Spring 2026 collection at Cipriani Wall Street.  Presented inside the landmark’s private restaurant and across its sweeping balcony of granite columns, the setting was as iconic as the collection itself.

The lineup moved like a modern garden in bloom, from luminous ivories and periwinkles to bold florals, vivid neons, and gilded metallics. Meticulous handwork—brocades, lace, embroidery, sequins—shimmered across shirt dresses, portrait gowns, trapeze cocktails, and sweeping capes. Verdavainne’s signature Trapunto belts and sashes sculpted silhouettes with dramatic precision. Standout looks included a neon satin ottoman gown with Trapunto detail, a gilded “Temple” gown finished with Swarovski crystal buttons, and finale gowns of golden sequins, champagne “3D Leaf” motifs, and embroidered tulle. Every print was an original artwork by the designer, protected by copyright.

“My inspiration has always been my client,” says Verdavainne. “This season celebrates our codes—original prints, Trapunto stitch belts, and bold colors that pop. It’s classic evening wear reimagined with modern textures and unexpected pairings—effortless, exciting, and unmistakably ours.”
