Victor showed his couture collection that is made to order in his Altier in the NYC Garment Center. Instead of a runway show on Sunday, February 15, 2026, he had an intimate presentation on models and mannequins or dress forms that hung from the ceiling. The presentation allowed people to get up close and see all the details of his workmanship. Couture means that you will be measured by Victor, a paper pattern handmade to your stats and then a mockup of the garment in muslin fabric which is fitted on you so he can make adjustments to make the finish garment fit perfectly on you. Each process is done the old fashioned way and not on the computer such as ready to wear.

As always, his collection is based on strict tailoring using fabrics that are usually reserved for upholstery such as tapestry and damask. This season he softened up his fashions with lace in a blush color used in leg -o-mutton sleeve blouses with self-covered buttons at the wrist (see photo) and down the front. Feathers were everywhere this season and Victor used dyed to match ostrich plums to adorn the neckline of a beaded dress that is the perfect dress to look ladylike in at a cocktail party. His clothes are all about the details such as covered buttons, ruffles at the sides of jackets or bows strategically placed on garments. These clothes are timeless, classic, ladylike, feminine that you will wear all the time and have in your closet for years to come. Since I work in textiles, I can tell you that he uses the best quality fabrics around and since they are sometimes on the heavier side means they won’t wear out. Many of his pieces were based on fashions from the late 1800s.

Emanual New York is where you can find a vast assortment of fragrances, candles, bath products, makeup, skincare that aren’t in the department or chain beauty stores in USA. Oh, you’re looking for the perfect sent and you want to try it on before you buy it, then I’m telling you that you have to go this store because you will definitely walk out with a new bottle of fragrance. Dustin Lujan has done an excellent job finding new brands of fragrances for the store.

Emanuel New York also carries a couple of collections of unusual jewelry and handbags. This season Victor is catering to everyone with a new line of tee shirts and sweatshirts that are gender neutral in pink or black with a pretty floral print on the front. Made in heavy cotton fabric that will last you many seasons and washings. By feeling the fabric, I can assure you they won’t pile such as most brands do. They are also made in NYC and very reasonably priced for the quality. Past season’s samples that were featured in his runways shows can be purchased in the back of the store also. You don’t need an appointment to shop for accessories, beauty or fragrance and can just walk in.
