THAT GRIT FEELING
Olivia Rodrigo continues not only her 3rd album push, but beaconing 90’s fashion Monday night attending the Saint Laurent Met Gala after party here in New York City. Olivia wore the F/W 1994 Vivienne Westwood “On Liberty” Crochet Dress in its beautiful hand-knitted form. Made up of turquoise canvas with wave design, plus flower knits chest left, and scarecrow sleeves, Olivia honors the meaning of down at home. For those of us who were teenagers growing up in the 90’s, we heard the term “In Your Own Words” a lot, that especially transcended into fashion where ancestry and folk spawned creativity.

Olivia rented out this vintage Vivienne Westwood dress from London’s Nordic Poetry who were all too proud to show off Olivia wearing their item. Olivia once again relied on the talent of Chloe and Chenelle to style Olivia for her return to Met Gala territory. Olivia’s run with Vivienne Westwood is modified against the original FW ‘94 runway sans scarf, knitted boots, and eggplant color. This is to show off Olivia Rodrigo neck and legs that are too well-built to hide.
