The Rack Shack had a party (open to the attendees of Curve only) the night before the opening of the Curve New York Lingerie Tradeshow, at their store in Manhattan. Object of Desire is an area of the Curve Tradeshow that features up and coming designers with a slant towards lacy and racy lingerie with many brands adorned with jewelry. Curve New York is a tradeshow featuring all kinds of upscale brands of lingerie, swimwear and sleepwear. Many of the designers from the Object of Desire’s collections were at the party to talk about their brands. The event was in conjunction with Curve and Object of Desire.

The Rack Shack is a small boutique that is tucked away on a quiet street in the theater district. They specialize in bras that are sexy or just plain tee shirt bras, panties from thongs to high waist briefs and many brands of stockings and pantyhose. Swimwear is also featured in the store.  When you shop there, you get personalized attention and a staff that is trained in bra fitting. Rest assured you won’t leave there with buying the wrong size bras or panties. If a man is looking for a gift for his lady friend, then the staff can assist him with that also. Couples shopping together are welcome. They even have a collection of transgenders and transvestite lingerie from the vendors from the Object of Desire collection. Bra sizes carried are 28A – 46O and panty/lingerie sizes XS – 4X. You can try on the bras in private fitting rooms. 

The store features brands that are quality and high end that are you won’t find in department stores. Even if you’re on your way to a Broadway show and your pantyhose run or the fishnets you had on ripped then you can stop in this store and buy a new pair from brands such as Legg Avenue which are not expensive and go in the fitting room and put them on. Laura is the owner in the black skirt and sexy black bra in my photo and she buys a great assortment of lingerie and has something for everyone. One thing I can tell you is that the store has a great assortment of colors and styles. 

I’m in the red crinoline and bustier because the invite said to wear lingerie as outerwear which is very trendy right now. My blog partner Daniel is in a black dress. In the photo with us are ladies who were at the party and I am showing my readers how to wear lingerie as outwear to be sexy.
