Good Karma Adds Up

It was 4 years ago at exactly this time in October that Lauren Conrad with partner, Hannah Skvarla, founded The Little Market, and Lauren’s celebrating hard today with it’s 4th anniversary, empowering women from around the world who strive to create a better life for themselves, and their families.

The Little Market started out carrying products from eight artisan groups in five countries, those numbers have unbelievably grown to carrying products from 56 artisan groups in 28 countries, both Lauren and Hannah have travelled the world, where they look forward to exploring local markets to find new artisans.

Lauren and Hannah have combined their backgrounds in fashion, decor, human rights, and international development to create the fair trade shop that is The Little Market, with help and assistance from those who specialize in human rights, empowering women, while learning about new handicraft techniques, and finding ways to help preserve them.

The Woven Braid

Today, we go to beauty school with Lauren Conrad’s team to teach us about creating a cozy woven fall braid, in a step by step tutorial with help from Maritza Buelvas of BeautyforBloggers, who’s getting ready for a season of crisp nights that make you wanna cozy up inside.

Along with the instructions of putting together the braid in the first place, Maritza recommends a thickening texture spray to keep the braid as lush as possible, because you want that braid to stand out, and be noticed from afar, and be loved by gals and guys alike.
