The Black’s In The Design

Susan Kelechi Watson wore Neil J Rodgers “Mia” shoes to the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night in Beverly Hills, California.

As you may or may not know, the Golden Globes had a movement bestowed upon the women of Hollywood, taking a stand against what’s been claimed as sexual harassment within the film and television community, standing up for those who claim to have been a victim of sexual misconduct, forming the #MeToo movement, along with the #TimesUp message that the women of Hollywood are sending.

So the big message comes in the detail, leading Hollywood females decided to wear nothing but black gowns, pantsuits, etc.; to send a so-called solemn message to the world that they are mad as hell on record, and they are not going to take the abuse of a man and his passions for sex anymore, if it’s not wanted by any given female individuals.

Bristish stylist, Neil J. Rodgers, created the perfect final touch to every outfit with his modern yet elegant chic shoe line.
Through his 15 years as a stylist, he worked on flawless looks for celebrities such as Beyonce, Giselle Bundchen, Anna Kendrick and Dita von Teese.
His handmade collections come from locally sourced materials made in a family factory in Venice, Italy.
Neil’s understated yet luxury shoes have graced the red carpets of the Golden Globes, Oscar’s, Grammy’s, Met Ball and other prestigious events.
The collection is the ideal contrast of tone and texture making it the must have shoe for every affair.
