Waa Waa-ing Started It All
In a little city known as Omaha, Nebraska, you wouldn’t expect to find any celebrity reality drama taking place, and that’s still the case, but there are curators and artists out there who at least illustrates it with “Lauren Conrad Is Crying”, according to KVNO Public Radio today.
At the Omaha Institute starting today, artists, Carolyn Hoover and Rachel Shiller, along with curators, Esau Betancourt and Cate O’Brien, see Lauren Conrad as an harbinger of what they call irreality, the one who spawned figures like Kim Kardashian, and political figures currently in office.
And in fitting fashion, going with the exhibit that runs until July 27th, it’s opening night tonight includes a dance party over at OUTRSpace that’s starting at 10 p.m., celebrating the days of when Lauren and the rest of “The Hills” gang partied nightly over at the ole La Deux nightclub.
