It’s not often that a simple piece a clothing can help a child battle the deadliest form of cancer, but if it involves such a renowned hospital like St. Jude’s, then the child’s chances of survival are greater, Lauren Conrad on Friday enhanced St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital fundraising efforts by telling 6.2 million of her Instagram followers to buy a special T-shirt from St. Jude’s with the simple phrase “This Shirt Saves Lives”.
It’s more than just a shirt with “This Shirt Saves Lives”, it’s St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital doing what they do best, continuing to lead the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases, treatments invented at St. Jude have help pushed the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to 80 percent since the hospital first opened its doors more than 50 years ago.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is on a non-stop mission until no child dies of cancer, all you have to do commit to a donation of $20 a month to receive this impactful T-Shirt, as well as take a picture with you wearing the shirt, and share the wealth of St. Jude’s efforts @stjude along with the hashtag #ThisShirtSavesLives.
The possibilities are endless when you help support those families who unfortunately have children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases, you not only help St. Jude in their research efforts, you also help families with lodging, meals, and you relieve the burden of devastated parents and their inability to pay for their child to battle cancer, and no family is turned down because of it.
