To Begin Again……

In all the long and countless years that New York Fashion Week has existed, we’ve expected the latest and greatest outfits, tops, bottoms, and accessories to be spawned each and every season, and every now and then, a born again experience takes place, that’s what Negris Lebrum finds itself in with its fall and winter 2019-20 collection as it was sent on the runway Sunday night here in New York City at The Flat in lower Manhattan.

For Negris Lebrum, the collection this season is a rebirth of Negris Lebrum itself, designed by Travia Hamilton, who was inspired originally to create Negris Lebrum from an incredible love story, plucked out of the 1940’s between a beautiful French Creole woman, Negris, and a handsome black man, Sam LeBrum.

This love story is so compelling because society at the time frowned upon the union of Negris and Lebrum due to the black and white racial barrier, which made it difficult for the two to be together, but it was force that wins out every time called love that brought Negris and Lebrum together in the end.

In this rebirth of Negris Lebrum, the brand emphasizes and reassures the public that its foundation has always been rooted in the Negris love story, and each collection is defined by the boldness of the color black and reflects the brand slogan: Lenoir est Joli, so it’s natural the looks of Negris Lebrum live up to its mission with the end result of being sexy all the way.
