The Bureau Of Labor Statistics released their June jobs report today, with a surprising rise in jobs for the month, 4.8 million non-farm jobs were added, and the unemployment rate fell to 11.1 percent, 2.2 percent decline from May.
Decrease in unemployment and rise in jobs are thanks to stay-at-home orders being lifted in most states, which prompted businesses to reopen, and call their employees to come back to work.
Despite June being much better than May for job growth, 1,427,000 unemployment claims were still filed over the last week according to the Department Of Labor today, as Americans are still suffering from the loss of income, and it could possibly get worse since COVID19 cases have risen dramatically again.
