The Taste Of Independence
On this Fourth Of July, there’s lots we’re missing out on, parades, barbecue cookouts with friends, rooftop pasties, the beach, and even fireworks, all thanks to a pandemic that’s forced us to stay home to stay safe, but it doesn’t mean we still can’t have cookouts with our own family, or even close friends, and we can cook things that represent the Fourth of July like Kristin Cavallari and her kids do today with a flag cake.
The story tells it all, Kristin and family take out good ole fashioned whipped cream, spread it on layers of pound cake, then add on strawberries across the cake, but leaving enough space for white in-between, and there’s a box left over on the top left for blueberries, all representing stars and stripes of the American Flag.
As fireworks are being spaced out throughout many nights leading up to today, Kristin and children got a glimpse of fireworks Thursday night from their own backyard.
