So far, as nearly 27,000 people have signed their signatures out of the 30,000 needed for The Shubert Organization to take action, this petition created Tuesday on MoveOn.org will definitely meet its goal for the action of the Longacre Theater on Broadway to be rechristened as “The Nick Cordero Theater”.

This action is important because the Longacre Theater is where Nick performed in his last Broadway show, “A Bronx Tale”, and this would be a perfect memory for Nick and his family’s legacy, ensuring his name always be in the lights of Broadway.

Nick Cordero died on Sunday after a 95 day battle with COVID19, fighting for his life in the ICU of Cedars Sinai Hospital in Hollywood, California, Nick’s wife, Amanda Kloots, continues to share memories of Nick on her Instagram, finding interviews, pictures, and 832 texts since Nick went into the ICU.
