Stages Of Grief

In remembering Kobe Bryant along with his daughter, Gigi, on the first anniversary after both their deaths, Amanda Kloots on CBS’s “The Talk” today says she feels for Vanessa Bryant who’s going through Post Traumatic Stress Disorder along with the rollercoaster that is grief as the lost of 2 loved ones is unimaginable, plus the aftermath, Amanda says grief is also a rollercoaster for herself when trying to move on from her husband, Nick Cordero, who died from COVID19 on July 5, 2020.

Amanda says her grief is in waves which is a happy place in one moment, followed by a tall wave of sadness with lots of tears to follow, Amanda also suspects that it’s Vanessa’s current children and family that keep Vanessa going, just like Amanda’s son, Elvis, does as Elvis always cheers Amanda up.

Grief with Amanda also brings guilt, guilt for crying over Nick which Nick would not want, or guilt found in moments where Amanda starts to forget about Nick.
