The United States Department Of Labor revealed today that unemployment claims have risen again over the past week to the tune of 793,000, though 33,000 less than last week, last week’s figures were revised up to 812,000 from 779,000 after the week before last revised up also.

Despite a spike in claims, the insured unemployment rate stayed low at 3.2 percent as it decreased by 0.1 percent while last week’s 3.2 revised up to 3.3, the figure for those on insured unemployment decreased 145,000 to 4,545,000 while last week’s numbers revised up 98,000 from 4,592,000 to 4,690,000.
