
The United States Department Of Labor today continued on with the trend of low amount of unemployment claims filed following the COVID19 pandemic, with 373,000 initial claims, up 2,000 from last week’s 371,000, which revised up 7,000 from 364,000.
Meanwhile, the insured unemployment rate saw its lowest number yet in the pandemic, coming in at 2.4 percent, down 0.1 percent from last week’s unchanged 2.5 percent, and the insured unemployment figure stands at 3,339,000, down 145,000 from last week’s 3,469,000 which revised up 15,000 from 3,484,000.
