It All Comes Together

Over at New York Fashion Week last Saturday evening, Negris Lebrum revealed his Fall/ Winter 2022-2023 collection of streetwear that’s not the streetwear you may be familiar with, but soft urban streetwear that’s built for a more upscale look, and also a retrospective of Negris Lebrum from its inception in 2012 till now.

For Negris, this season tries to include everything from the last 10 years such as the double-breated suede trenchcoat, or Army trenches with World War II in the early 1940’s found in military style made sexier by fur embellishments according to the model’s body while holding onto masculinity going all the way back to the very first season in 2012.

Negris’s soft street style of FW22 are comprised of lots of knits that are joined with tweed copper pinstripes created with knits, there’s also a 1980’s theme to this season with a pre-neck sweater dress having “Miami Vice” written all over it, creating sequins with a basic knit and a black and white trim that’s made casual and sequined out for the entire collection.

Negris Lebrum started out with 2 mills of fabric out of Milan, but made the best of 1 fabric due to supply chain issues in China thanks to COVID19, Negris ultimately took PU Suede and Vegan Suede and made a beautiful collection that took 30 variations of vermeil to find the right one that fit Negris’s reflection season of FW22.

Negris Lebrum doesn’t strive to be overly sexy with all his collections, Negris designs his collection for women looking for a versatile collection, something that the woman wants to wear everyday, a staple every woman wants to have for their work lives and even special events in their lives, Negris Lebrum is not about creating fantasy collections that are considered fast fashion for the most part, it’s not entirely sustainability in the way you’re thinking about, it’s all about strong upscale woman wearing urban street style that’s in a soft and classy presentation.

For that reason, Negris Lebrum is resilient at a time when COVID19 is far from over and other collections have taken a step back from showing this season, creating a collection that’s easy for women to wear with creative play on high-end fabrics, and a Negris Lebrum that women want to wear all the time, and keeps selling every season.
