This Valentine’s Day, Culture Lab LIC invites audiences to experience an evening of elegance and provocative performance with “Twist & Tease,” a production by the internationally renowned troupe, The Cabaret Burlesque.

Running for two nights during Valentine’s Day Weekend, February 13 & 14, 2026, Twist & Tease reimagines our warehouse space as a moody, world-class cabaret lounge. Known for their high production value and mastery of the art of the tease, The Cabaret Burlesque brings a sophisticated, modern edge to the classic burlesque tradition, making this the most sought-after Valentine’s ticket in Long Island City.

“We’re honored to welcome The Cabaret Burlesque back to Culture Lab for two shows this year, including a tantalizing Valentine’s weekend engagement and an extended spring run of an evening-length show,” says Artistic Director Tess Howsam. “If you caught them last season, you know—don’t wait to get your tickets.”

Designed for couples, singles, and groups of friends alike, the evening is a celebration of sensuality, humor, and breathtaking athleticism. Expect a perfectly curated sequence of acts featuring world-class burlesque artists, intricate costuming, and an energizing soundtrack. Culture Lab’s  back space will be transformed with intimate lighting and cocktail seating, offering a front-row view of the art of burlesque.

Consider this a “first look”  for those who haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing The Cabaret Burlesque, before their extended run later this spring.

A cash bar will be available, featuring wine, beer, N/A refreshments and themed Valentine’s drinks. As with all 2026 season events, Culture Lab Members are invited to utilize their perks, including special access and drink benefits.
