As New York City feels the pain of restricted guidelines of closing non-essential businesses to get a better handle on the coronavirus, Equinox went onto close every one of their luxury gyms in New York City, as well as their New Jersey and Connecticut locations on Monday evening at 8 p.m. EDT until further notice.

Equinox took it a step further after following Center for Disease Control recommendations and concerning the coronavirus by closing all their gyms nationwide, after a succession of updates advising members on recommended gym use before total closure had to be done.

Even up until now, Equinox is the only gym known to go above and beyond the most astringent requirements in keeping their facilities clean, using hospital solution to keep their gyms sanitized, going hand and hand with their grade A service, amenities, personal training, classes, and events.

Daniel plus Lauren, who’s a member of Equinox, was honored at the highest level to be apart of their ABT ballet class at Hudson Yards last May, as well as their ‘Master Of Vogue’ class for Pride Month last June, both giving an exhilarating and enlightening experience for yours truly.
