
The United States Department Of Labor today tells no different about its weekly unemployment numbers than in the last 54 weeks, and last week as of late, jobless claims were on the upswing once again by 16,000 to land at 744,000 from 728,000 revised up by 9,000 from 719,000.
The insured unemployment rate of those receiving benefits continues to decrease further below 3 percent at 2.6, unchanged from last week’s revised 2.6 percent by 0.1 percent originally standing at 2.7 percent, and the figure for those receiving insured unemployment landed at its lowest number in all the COVID19 pandemic at 3,734,000, 16,000 less than last week’s 3,750,000 revised down by 44,000 from 3,794,000.
