The United States Department Of Labor reports a brand-new low figure of jobless claims in the COVID19 pandemic, 576,000 is now the lowest number of unemployment claims filed in over a year since the pandemic started, dropping 193,000 from last’s week 769,000, revising up 25,000 from 744,000, it’s also the lowest level for initial claims since March 14, 2020 with the figure then of 256,000.

Though unemployment claims saw their lowest number in COVID, the insured unemployment rate stay unrevised from last week, but did increase 0.1 percent to 2.7 percent, plus the actual figure of insured employment increased also for the first time in a while up 4,000 to 3,731,000 while last week’s figure revised down 7,000 from 3,734,000 to 3,727,000.
