Fresh from their debuts at Las Vegas Watch Week, Swiss watchmaker Frederique Constant is spotlighting two new Classics releases that speak to both innovation and personal style: the Classics Moneta Solarmetre and the Classics Ladies Automatic Double Heart Beat.

The Classics Moneta Solarmetre marks a milestone moment for the brand, introducing the first-ever Frederique Constant solar-powered watch models for both men and women. The newly reinterpreted Classics Ladies Automatic Double Heart Beat brings a jewelry-inspired sensibility with reimagined, gem-set dials.

Together, the wristwatches reflect Frederique Constant’s modern approach to Swiss Made watchmaking, pairing timeless design codes with brand firsts, refined details, and exceptional value.

CLASSICS MONETA SOLARMETRE

The Frederique Constant Classics Moneta Solarmetre marks an important first for Frederique Constant as the Manufacture’s first model equipped with solar technology.

Powered by the solar FC-120 caliber developed by La Joux-Perret, the timepiece conceals its photovoltaic technology beneath a subtly translucent, brand-first grained-effect dial with subtly integrated date window.

Offered in a new 39mm case (a first for the Classics Moneta collection) with ice blue, burgundy, or cloud white dials and fluted, coin-edge detailing, the model offers unisex appeal and versatility, delivered with both a leather strap and Milanese mesh bracelet.

CLASSICS LADIES AUTOMATIC DOUBLE HEART BEAT

The Frederique Constant Classics Ladies Automatic Double Heart Beat reimagines one of Frederique Constant’s most emblematic feminine designs, first introduced in 2006.

Now presented in three new 36mm interpretations, the signature double-heart aperture moves to 6 o’clock for the first time, revealing a specially open-worked La Joux-Perret movement with a 68-hour power reserve.

New gem-set dials in opal, malachite, and aventurine glass bring a jewelry-inspired freshness to the collection, complemented by diamond details, a newly designed case, and interchangeable steel and color-matched leather straps.

ABOUT FREDERIQUE CONSTANT

At Frederique Constant, time is an object of passion. It is not measured by the fleeting excitement of trends. Quite the opposite; it is a long-term vision, pursued through bold objectives, driven by the dynamism of contemporary watchmaking that dares to challenge established codes. It’s a Maison that dares to take risks. It dares to invent a Swiss-made watchmaking with a high added value. It dares to imagine new watch mechanisms. It dares to offer High Complications. It dares to break down barriers to better play with the paradox of contemporary classicism.

Watchmaking at Frederique Constant follows in the footsteps of its founders’ entrepreneurial spirit. It stems from the appreciation for fine craftsmanship of the men and women who make up the Manufacture, since 1988. It is a human, vibrant and authentic company. It is bold, having already developed 35 Manufacture movements – almost one per year. Today, the Maison boasts a collection of refined Complications developed and assembled within its own Manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva. These include the Tourbillon, Perpetual Calendar, Flyback Chronograph, Worldtimer and Power Reserve Big Date, as well as the Monolithic – a major innovation, manufactured as a single piece of silicon and operating at 40 Hz.

The range also includes automatic and quartz collections distributed through approximately 3,000 points of sale in 120 countries. In 2016, the Frederique Constant Group (Frederique Constant, Alpina Watches, Ateliers de Monaco) joined the Japanese Citizen Group to further its international development and foster new synergies.
