Exit, Stage 2021

The Broadway League announced today that Broadway, aka The Great White Way, also in the middle of Times Square, will stay closed for the remainder of 2020, shows have been cancelled all the way to January 3, 2021, which ticket holders can get refunds for if you hold any up to that date, but it still doesn’t necessarily mean Broadway will be back on that date.

Broadway is working with the city of New York to get back up and running for early next year, installing and enforcing protocols for a pandemic proof experience when the curtain rises again for so many acclaimed performances, the safety of casts, crew, orchestra, and you, the audience, are theaters and production’s top priority.

Returning productions will resume with rolling dates after January 3, 2021 if all goes accordingly battling COVID19, plus ticket holders who don’t get refunds or exchange offers via email by July 13, 2020 have to call the point of purchase for assistance after this date.

Theaters outside New York City like the Barrington Stage Company and Woolley Mammouth Theater have or will make their theaters safe for attendees and performers once they get the green light to reopen.

Livestream has become the most viable option for the show to go on, “Hamilton, The Musical” will be released on Disney Plus this Friday.
