The United States Department Of Labor released another grim weekly jobs report today, 1,434,000 continued to file unemployment claims in the last week, with 12,000 more from the week previous, revised at 1,422,000, bring the 19 week total of claims due to COVID19 to 54 million.

As confirmed and unconfirmed cases of COVID19 continues to surge in the Southern Hemisphere of the United States, the insured unemployment rate increased also, after dropping to the lowest number of 16 million last week from 20 million in the height of the pandemic, it inched up again to 17,018,000, standing at 11.6 percent.

With COVID19 still at its highest, and jobless claims shows no decline in sight, a fruitful action plan must be enacted soon to eclipse this pandemic, and recover the U.S. from economic disaster.
