The United States Department Of Labor had a much lower number unemployed this week in the COVID19 pandemic, possibly because of the Thanksgiving holiday, but 712,000 is still another staggering figure, 75,000 less than last week’s revised number of 787,000, higher by 9,000, worse that thought.
What’s on a continued downward trajectory are those receiving unemployment benefits, where the insured unemployment rate dropped further to 3.8 percent, 0.4 percent less from a revised up by 0.1 percent to 4.2 percent, and those on insured unemployment dropped more to under 6 million coming in at 5,520,000, 569,000 less than last week’s 6,089,000, which revised up by 18,000 from 6,071,000.
